Christmas seems like a million years ago, I feel like it didn't even happen. Maui throws sun and more sun at us, that we have to constantly remind ourselves its Christmas. I felt like I was in the middle of summer the whole month of December. I'm not complaining, but there were moments I wish I was in a cabin in the snow storm sitting by a fire with a big knit wool blanket. I threw up some decorations in our little apartment, bought pumpkin pie, and watched all the hallmark movies I could on Netflix. We had an amazing Christmas day. We are so blessed with the loving people we have met here, who treat Ryan and I like family. My friend and I picked up a tree from the grocery store parking lot, dragged it into her little living room, and decorated it. We grabbed our SUPs and headed for the beach to get some exercise and have fun with her brother and Ryan. We lounged in hammocks swinging from palm trees, and talked about boys. I wish I could laugh, swim, and listen every day like we did that day. Her mom came and cooked a fancy seafood feast with gourmet appetizers, and cannoli for dessert. We played card games on the rug, watched "Elf" and listened to Christmas music. I loved being with friends and family for our first Maui Christmas. It couldn't have been more perfect.
I couldn't go a Christmas without designing Christmas cards, and because I got so into it-here are two designs. Our friend, Jon, even took some beachy pics of us lovers loving. MAUI CHRISTMAS TO ALL. Until next year.
